How many jokes are in a round?
There are six jokes in each run, which usually takes about two minutes.
TAKE THE STAGE

Read the setup, choose the line that lands the joke, and build a comedy streak.

Pick the line that makes the wordplay click.
PLAY WITH A PLAN
You get a joke setup and three possible endings. Only one line makes the wordplay land. Pick it to build a streak through six jokes; a correct answer earns points plus a larger streak bonus, while a miss resets the streak but keeps the points already earned.
A strong punchline turns a specific word from the setup rather than merely matching the topic. Look for the option in which one word carries two meanings. If no word changes meaning, the answer is probably a decoy.
Wrong answers are often perfectly reasonable statements. That is the tell. A real punchline should reveal a second interpretation and produce a small moment of surprise, not simply finish the thought.
Read all three lines before choosing, then favor the one that makes the setup click in a slightly ridiculous way. The option that makes you wince and laugh at the same time is usually the intended pun.

One wrong answer resets the streak bonus, but your points so far remain safe.
Yes. Pick the Punchline is not a daily game, so you can replay it whenever you like.
